Mary Curley marries Edward Donnelly.

(June) Officiated by Cardinal William H. O’Connell, the ceremony at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross is attended by 3,500 people. She is the only daughter of Gov. James Michael Curley. He is chief executive of John Donnelly & Sons, the largest billboard company in New England.
